International Poetry and Jazz Festival.

jazz-2Lucky Bean restaurant in Melville is hosting the International Jazz Day mixed with Poetry.

Each year on April 30, this important day is celebrated around the world for 24 hours to promote dialogue and peace among cultures. International Jazz Day is chaired and led by Irina Bokova, UNESCO Director-General, and legendary pianist and composer Herbie Hancock, who serves as a UNESCO Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue and Chairman of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz (TMIJ).

In Celebration of UNESCO’s International JAZZ DAY on 30th April…enjoy a musical collaboration between five of South Africa’s finest Jazz musicians:
