Oppikoppi is happening in two weekends time – 3 – 6 August – and if you haven’t got your tickets, best you hurry! OppiKoppi 12: Rock Paper Scissors Just a few weeks to go and the dusty lanes are being swept just-so, in and around the rock ‘n roll metROCKolis of the OppiKoppi farm. In a few days from now it will once again play host to the annual music festival and general freedom celebration which has become an integral part of many South African’s lives. It is therefore more than apt that the first batch of artist names be announced, for the event which has come to be known as the quintessential alternative showcase for many diverse genres. FIRST ARTISTS Listed alphabetically this is just the first batch of artists which has been confirmed with a final figure of between 60 and 90 acts scheduled for the 3-6 August celebration.
