Woodstock is the only music and lifestyle festival in South Africa which makes us unique and fun for all fun loving people.
You will find several stages with over 70 different bands throughout the weekend.  These bands will range in styles from rock to pop to hard rock to punk to acoustic rock to hip hop and reggae. From some of the biggest bands in the country to some of the best kept secrets and some international surprises along the way. There are also many different arenas with different deejays through out the weekend playing everything from hip hop to house to rock to indie.
You will find sporting activities including extreme motor-cross from the Ride Authority team, The Riot BMX Team and the Converse Skate Park.  You will find human pac man, PS3, unplugged arenas, comedy, poets, break-dancers, beat-boxing, and many wondrous types of foods and creative stalls.  Woodstock provides an overall view of most pop culture aspects.

Woodstock falls over the world’s weekend for AIDS awareness. There will be pamphlets and consultants on hand to discuss the virus with you. Please be responsible. Durex has provided us with ten thousand complimentary condoms which you will find in the over eighteen’s bar areas. Please join us on Stage 3 for the Music Saved My Life initiative on Saturday the 1st. 

They’re also looking for street teams to promote the festival in return for tickets – We are looking for twenty street teams in JHB, PTA, DBN, PMB and Bloem. A Street Team should consist of two people. You are given Woodstock merchandise and flyers and you choose an area close to you to promote the festival (varsity/shopping centres/night spots etc.). You help us distribute flyers and posters and we reward you with two tickets and merchandise completely free to join us at South Africa’s biggest and most fun music and lifestyle festival. Catch? You need to hand in photos and proof that you handed out the flyers. If you are interested in being part of our street team, please email nancy@authenticideas.co.za before the 1st of November. Street teams welcome in all corners of the country as well as neighbouring states.
