Fans of good music and fabulous fashion have something to look forward to on the 10th September when 14 of South Africa’s most talented artists unite with the world’s top DJ, Tiýsto and the worldwide King of House, Erick Morillo!
United under one roof, South Africa’s top performers including Malaika, DJ Fresh, Roger Goode, Glen Lewis, Surge and Ryan Dent will come together in one united display of talent. The climax of the evening will lift the roof with performances by the world’s 3 times No.1 DJ Tiýsto, and the worldwide King of House, Erick Morillo!
Tiýsto is the only DJ in the world to sell out a stadium event with a solo performance, playing to more than 25 000 people.
His hit single “Traffic” was the first instrumental track to reach the No.1 chart position in 23 years in Holland. 2003 saw Tiýsto winning 3 TMF Awards (Holland and Belgium), 2 Dutch DJ Awards, 1 MTV Europe Award, and he was again named No.1 DJ in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 – a first for a DJ to get this spot twice in a row!
In 2004 Tiýsto performed during the ‘Parade of the Athletes’ at the official Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens. He played live to over 70 000 inside the stadium, and with more than 4 billion people watching around the world!
On October 28th, Tiýsto is again named No.1 in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 list. Voted for by the public, this is the 3rd time in a row, proving that he is the world’s superstar DJ!
Erick Morillo has remixed everyone from Whitney Houston to Basement Jaxx, from the Sneaker Pimps to Macy Gray. He’s a platinum selling artist and has topped the charts worldwide as the producer behind Reel 2 Reel’s hit “I Like To Move It”. The King of House has collaborated on his artist album “My World” with the likes of P. Diddy, DJ Rap, Audio Bullys and Terra Deva!
Unity brings the best in electronic music together in one celebration of entertainment. Three dance floors will headline the worlds best in a music festival featuring iconic international fashion label, Von Dutch Originals.
