4th year of the First Wed Film Club!
We’re so chuffed that February 2008 sees the return of what is now a Jozi institution – The First Wednesday Film club. If we’re not mistaken, the First Wed Film Club started in 2004 (we were there!) an initiative of John Barker, Ziggy Hofmeyr, Atlas Studios (and friends and hangers on) with a view to encouraging young film makers to share their work, be exposed to a broad genre of filmmaking and of course to network and dream up the next big thing. So that means this is the 4th year that it’s running, BIG UPS to the boys for keeping a good thing going for so long. Click on the flyer for more info.
DIRECTIONS:
If you are coming from Pretoria, take the M1 towards Joburg, take the Empire Rd Offramp. turn right into Empire road. I think it’s the second robots, take a left into OWL rd (you go under Barry Hertzog flyover), Atlas Studios comes up on your left hand side, it’s the old Bakery building… you turn left into Frost avenue and you can’t miss the entrance.
