How do you feel about the Vodacom Meerkat?
Thanks to Aquoibon for the lead and Generalista for the reminder… We’ve been caught up in Facebook since we joined and find ourselves mindlessly and hopelessly addicted… we say again JOIN NOW if you need a distraction from the real world! But don’t blame us if you get fired. The strangest thing about Facebook is how people from nursery school manage to find you! You’ll know what we mean if you’re a member. Anyway, it’s not just about all the mates you can gather or leaving embarassing messages on a friends wall, it’s also about the crazy groups that exist. We were delighted to discover the group aptly entitled:
I f*cking hate the animated meerkat from Vodacom.
Editorista once got herself in a lot of trouble for pointing out that it was an annoying, strange, bad taste, obscure and an irrelevant, unknown icon for a local brand and that we f*cken hated it…. But she was delighted to find out that hundreds, in fact over 10000 facebook users feel the same way! Isn’t that a good feeling.
