Well anyone that grew up listening to Rock and Radio 5 will know the UNCLE PAUL BEDTIME STORIES… and the man intent on letting the music churn.
Love em or not HE DID EVERYTHING HE COULD for SA Alternative music and every country needs an alternative scene… Just a little break from the norm.- Here is Barneys last goodbye:

It was a great experience to be part of 5FM over the past 24 years.
It was my life and I will miss the radio listeners and supporters the
most. I achieved what I wanted and that is to promote South African,
alternative, punk, metal and rock music on radio without any rules. I
have worked with dedicated and passionate people in the music and
entertainment industry over the years. Thanks for your support. The
time has come to move on. There are many new challenges waiting on
the other side.
For the thousands of fans all over the world – respect! Don’t fear,
I will be back sooner than you think at a gig or a radio near you!
Good luck to all my special friends at 5FM. You know who you are.
