Big dogs AMAKHOSI v BUCCANEERS this Saturday
It’s premier league showdown time and the heavyweights of local soccer – ORLANDO PIRATES and KAIZER CHIEFS will be fighting it out at this year’s SOWETO DERBY.
It’s going down at the FNB stadium aka Soccer City this Saturday 30 April where organisers are expecting a packed-out stadium and lots of true homegrown electric atmosphere as fans jet i…
n from all over the country and don their team colours and their facepaint and gooi as hard as they can on their VUVUZELA’s.
Kick-off is at 15h15 but you wanna get there a lot earlier so you can buy your ‘cellphone’ (booze in a small bottle that makes u talk) find your seat, sing a song, dance to the tunes of local muso’s and support the opening match:
“The curtain-raiser for the derby, a celebrity match between the Buccaneers and the Amakhosi, will include the likes of Mapaputsi, Arthur Mafukate, Teboho Moloi and Tshepo Mabona and artists like Pitch Black Afro, Zola, DJ Ganyani will keep the crowd on their feet.” says Joburg.Org So there’s a free concert thrown in too!
Tickets can be bought at Computicket – R20 for adults and R15 for teens… YOU WANNA HURRY THOUGH!
This is kind of like our CUP FINAL and anyone that loves soccer or a true South African sporting atmosphere will lap it up. REPRESENT will be there – we can’t say who we support but suffice to say “UP THE BUCS!”
