Happy Happy from all of us at Represent
Another year has flown by… and wow, we can’t believe that Represent is still around so many years later. We’ve gradually slowed down as you can tell by our minimal posting in December – got lots going down :). We’d like to thank everyone that’s a part of our extended family and friends…. you keep us going and make it worth our while. Sharpile! Big ups to Reuben, Nkateko, Dawn and Vincent in particular, thanks for all your time and love. And to all the wonderful PR people, gallery owners, interviewees and others that keep us fed… Sharp!
2008 has been an extremely rewarding year of change and major growth for Editorista, she’s pretty excited about the fact that the year has overall been pretty… to sum it up… 2000 and great… (cheesy) – but let’s not forget the many challenges and hardships being confronted daily by citizens around the world. We can do better and still hope for a better world.
We’re not making any predictions for 09 although we already have lots of rebirth planned for Represent. We’ll be gone from now till mid Jan when we’ll be back with lots more of what you like.
SO, you know the rules, have an amazing restive festive, but don’t do stupid stuff to mess it up like: drink too much and make stupid decisions, take shitty drugs, fight with your loved ones, forget to wear sunscreen, swim in shark-infested waters, drink and drive, take risks with your safety or health, shine on your friends shine, offer “The Secret” as a Christmas gift, agree to do something you don’t want to do, get yourself in debt buying more useless crap, stay home on your own and be lonely and feel sorry for yourself instead of going to Wimpy for bottomless coffee… BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, don’t make any ridiculous New Year’s resolutions. So go easy on yourself, party swell and keep life simple in 09.
And don’t forget to shine a light for those less fortunate than yourselves…
