Wednesday 6 July Movie Club has 3 short films from students at AFDA and NYU to show you.
8:00pm: First up is TRACKS, a story of shattered dreams, lost childhood and the aspirations of a boy leaning on drugs. It takes place within the sordid sex industry of Pretoria and the consumers within.
Q&A afterwards with Director Brett Melvill-Smith from AFDA
8:30pm: Bloedgrond, a Drama about a boy who is torn between his responsibility to his dying father and the desire to find his biological father, he must go in search of his true identity.
Q&A afterwards with Producers Leanne Callanan & Julia Schnurr from AFDA
9:00pm: SAY HI TO BANGKOK, a young tranny (trans sexual) struggles to get by on the streets of New York City. As her hopes of a sex change slips through her fingers, she finds herself looking for love in all the wrong places…
