Volunteers need to be in good physical shape, as they need to lay bricks, mix cement, throw bricks, plaster, paint, lay tiles etc. Previous experience not required, as you will be taught.”

702 Habitat for Humanity Birthday Build
For our birthday this year, we decided to throw a house party!
Last year Talk Radio 702 and Habitat for Humanity embarked on a project to build three houses in Ivory Park in time to present them to three women for Women’s Day on the 9th of August.
Community involvement continues to be an essential and integral part of 702’s values, particularly as a means to understanding the needs of the community which we serve.
This August, the station will once again join forces with Habitat for Humanity and four sponsors to build five houses in Soweto.
The build will be in celebration of 702’s 25th birthday.
