Born in Namibia, Adrian Grove was…
raised on a cattle farm and in the city. He later moved to Cape Town after studying Fine Arts at the University of Stellenbosch where he graduated in 1987 with a cum laude distinction in graphic design and illustration.
He then pursued a career in fashion design designing mainly mens wear and this is where he developed his passion for fashion illustration and figure study of the male physique.
These dynamics of his career and background led to this current exhibition which is a celebration of the male body in it’s different facets, expressed mainly in acrylic on canvas.
