The SANSUI Summer Cup has gathered, from among the best markets in Johannesburg, exquisite craft beer sellers and mouth-watering gourmet pop-up food stalls, and included them as part of this year’s special Summer Fair offering.
Craft beer from SMACK! Republic will be on sale, as well as burgers from the ever popular BALKAN BURGER. Jozi Smokehouse specialises in smokin’ hot meat and will bring the intensity and flavour of southern USA style cooking to Gauteng’s biggest horse race. The JHB Culinary School, Braeside Butchery, Full of Beans and Happy Me Bubble Tea will provide an exciting assortment of food and beverage options.
For those who want to experience an informal, yet exciting, day at the races the Summer Fair is the place to be. This open, grassy area located right next to the race track and parade ring is reserved exclusively for Summer Fair guests, and only these guests are given access to the gourmet pop-up food and craft beer stalls. A retro-rustic country atmosphere, complete with hay bales and long tables, will provide a relaxing and fun environment.
This market and fair-type area will include private tote facilities and betting assistants to talk guests through the ins-and-outs of betting on their favourite horse.
Groups which include 10 staff, customers, friends or family will receive a reserved long table branded with their company or organisation’s logo.
Tickets or group areas can be booked directly with Campbell + Campbell from R250 per person.
