You can dance @ Headrush Tactics in Durban

Some Durb’s people are getting a little tired of same old same old doofdoof – so they putting together some more “intelligent” dance music parties… sounds lank deep bru. Get down to the fabulous Trans Africa-Express – the gorgeous restaurant down at the harbour… here it is:

H TACTICS is being staged at Trans-Africa Express at the B.A.T. Centre on Friday 10 February. The event promises to be a loving earful for those hedonists out there who have had their fill of bland dance music which bears more than a passing resemblance to the spin cycle of a washing machine.

Teaming up for the first time in the interests of furthering the musical integrity of the heathen port of Durban are One Track Mike and Kid Colt of local breakbeat outfit Triphazard and die-hard retro-electro-alternative proponents Captain Asthma and Lo-Boob Oscillator. Strange titles aside, this combination guarantees a wide range of cutting-edge dance music which is light years away from the all-too-familiar bubblegum house which is the defining sound of too many nighttime haunts in our dear seaside town.
