Premier pop/rock act, Watershed, has been invited to support David Gray on the South African leg of his “Life in Slow Motion” tour next month. The highly anticipated shows, presented by Kfm 94.5, 94.7 Highveld Stereo and BIG Concerts, are scheduled for Cape Town’s Bellville Velodrome on the 9th and Johannesburg’s Coca-Cola Dome, on the 11th of June.
Watershed were awarded “Best Pop Album”, and nominated for “Best Adult Contemporary Album” at this year’s SAMA Awards, following the success of their third album, ‘Mosaic’. The group has become South Africa’s most successful pop/rock music export in recent years, touring SA and Europe extensively on the back of their previous two platinum selling albums, “In The Meantime” and “Wrapped in Stone”. The hit “Indigo Girl” off their debut album, has become the band’s signature tune reaching #2 in Germany, the Top 10 in 5 European countries, and it has also been translated into Chinese, making it a hit in South East Asia!
