TS Records loses two stars
After receiving an invite to the Press Conference of Ntando and Brown Dash scheduled for 16:30pm at Primi Studio in Rosebank, I assumed that it was the whole African time issue when the stars hadn’t arrived at 17:20 and everyone was beginning to come up with their own versions of the reason behind the press conference…
Mpumi Phillips of Ghetto Ruff Marketing finally made an announcement saying that the artists would not be arriving because of threatening phone calls they were receiving.
“I just spoke to them just now, they really looked like they had fear in their eyes” said Phillips
No one could confirm who was making the threatening calls to the artists; but it is now confirmed that kwaito sensation Brown Dash and smooth voiced ladies love Ntando Bangani have left TS Records.
A paragraph posted on the TS Records website late on Friday 09 February stated the following:
“We hereby confirm that Ntando is no longer part of our Family as well as Brown Dash whom will only be recorded by TS Records but managed by another undisclosed company as yet. For the past five years that we have been with our artists we have worked immaculately with them and realize the importance of entrepreneurship, Ntando will be starting his own Record Label called Bon’ Fire that is due to commence in April”
We can only hope that we can still get chart topping hits from both award winning artists, and good luck to Ntando with his record label!
