LOYISO – such a honey in such sweet shoes!
We forgot to mention that the other day while hanging out IN THE VIP AREA at the Non-Snoop concert, we bumped into one of our favourite South African musicians – Loyiso Bala. We dig his silky soppy songs (great for love Jones) but most of all we LOve hiM! He is always polite, always smiles, always hugs, always says hello… always has time for his fans… a bit …like Unathi too. We also love her. It’s guys like these that give us hope in SA’s celebs – that they may set a new behaviour code for how celebs should behave… ANYway.. moving on… LOyISO had the cutest shoes on, which Editorista just had to bend down and touch… Apparently they are from Pharell’s range called “ICE CREAM shOE” (oh how sweet and loyal!) Apparently Pharell spotted them when he and Loyiso popped in to see TaTa Madiba at his posie in Westcliff. He was way pleased to see a Xhosa brother wearing his shoes… we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one and not go into what he may have expected. Click here to check out Pharell’s ICECREAM shoe range. We’re always looking for fresh design and fashion idea’s, so if you have something you have designed and want us to spread the word… get in touch. You know the...

The Non-Snoop Joburg concert didn’t disappoint
SNOOP report back from Cape Town We never got to see SNOOP after all that. Sad but true. However our brilliant faithful sista’s Janine in Durbs and Yumna in cape Town gave us their take on the concerts as they saw them… enjoy!!!! It will have to be Kanye West! Besides the People’s Day Concert being a free rub-up for any Dick, Tom, or Harry. It was official…ly the most amazing concert I’ve experienced in a long time. With about 200 000 people moving to the sounds of Black Noise, kicking it off and spinning around. There was Zola with one of his backup singers climbing on the rig and shaking his ass while hanging on for dear life. And of course, Freshly Ground getting the crowd to croon to “What would you do if I held your hand and laid you down&” yes we are soppy romantics! And Mario with his ultra smooth, creamy voice and his dancer – kicking of her shoes and coat to give men and I’m sure a few women a couple of moments of pure perving pleasure over her bodacious ass. But who do you think rocked the concert? Why there could only be one man for that job – Pharrell Williams. Making his entrance on stage, with a bandana covering his face and “I’m a dirty dog&” echoing through the stadium. Disturbingly, I was not one of the five fortunate women that he chose to go up on stage. But as he said “I was just frontin’ you know I want you girl&” And well, I got to scream all the lyrics to his songs, scaring a few bystanders in the process. Moreover, Pharrell taking off his top was enough to satisfy me – and the rest of the female population at the Green Point Stadium. And yes, Pharrell, for you, I’ll agree that Star Trek does rock. Many might have complained about the half hour breaks between the acts but with all those booties shaking, I think the rest did me well. Sean Paul came out with his broken knee, apparently inflicted by some beautiful 800-pound ass on his lap. And his silky reggae and dance hall beats matched with his retelling of his sexual encounters with two (I’m thinking South African) women. Then there was one& Snoop Doogy Doooooog brought the house down with what looked liked an oversized baby jumper, which only he could get away with, and a huge blingy flower ring. Bringing us to our knees as he hopped his way in with “Share with me, ups and downs and round bouts, there will be fairy tales...
