Jeanne Hoffman is a Cape Town based artist who works mostly in drawing, lithography and installation. Her work fuses the conceptual and formal concerns of drawing with found materials in three-dimensional constructions. Hoffman has worked in the field of arts education, in various capacities, for the last seven years. These include teaching at secondary and tertiary level, as well as co-ordinating and facilitating various environmental education community projects. But there’s something about Europe’s latest female folky exports all singing in English that does grow on you.
