FILM CLUB on WED at ATLAS STUDIOS -FREE!!!
It’s been more than a year and John Barker and Ziggy Hofmeyr continue to brave the cold and keep on pushing the delights of FILM every week in Joburg at their Film Club – good work guys keep it up! This week’s film is a local one, THE FLYER, directed by Revel Fox and edited by Richard Starkey.

2005 we have “The Flyer” kicking off at 8pm:
The Flyer is the uplifting story of a young coloured kid saved from the mean streets of Cape Town by an old trapeze great, and indoctrinated into a gravity defying world – trapeze flying! But the flybar between success and failure swings in the balance as his past and present collide to dramatic effect.
Please guys, if you want us to show your film, drop off a copy either with Ziggy or John at one of the screenings and we will add to our library to show when the time is right. Our goal is still to put together a film festival some time in the future and you’re films – big or small –
will all be considered.
