The Jameson Vic Falls Carnival is extremely proud to be working with Six Million Smiles this year. Six Million Smiles is an initiative to acknowledge the positive developments from individuals and corporates in the fight against the negative stigma associated with HIV and AIDS. Charlotte Kanter, Marketing Manager for Seed Experiences, is thrilled to have this great initiative involved with the festival; ‘We are extremely excited to have Six Million Smiles on board at this year’s festival. As six million people come together to create awareness for the Aids epidemic, we are privileged to have such a fantastic outlet to drive involvement into this campaign as this year’s Jameson Vic Falls Carnival.’ Keep a look out for the dazzling Six Million Smiles photo booth at the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival in the Green Village and have your group shot taken to be part of showing the absolute best Zimbabwe has to offer.
Green Village and Cinema
TM Supermarkets in conjunction with Environment Africa will be creating the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival Green Village.
This area will focus on bringing awareness to charities and initiatives involved in conservation, preservation and the environment. There will be on-site stands which will include anti-poaching initiatives, which require a constant effort to protect our endangered Rhino’s and the removal of alien plant species that destroy both the local fauna and flora infrastructure and negatively affect the animal population.
The Green Village will also include interactive artworks where attendees can use their recyclable cans and materials to create Big 5 game in giant proportions. This popular activation was seen previously at Rocking the Daisies and is a great way to merge awareness and creativity.
