It’s all important at UNSOUND SYSTEM when Model C join us live for the album launch of their debut ‘no more songs about girls’. This unique project is a collaboration between Kidu (Nicholas Nesbitt) and his sister Robyn who have been making music since 2006, writing songs based on the entries in their shared diaries. Upfront, honest and endearing, these two allow the outside world into theirs with a mixture of sincere songwriting, heartfelt folk and experimental electronica. Supported by Alex Hing on vocals, keys and songwritting. Leighton Powell on drums.
This is one of the freshest live acts on the scene – a rare mixture of emotional warmth, keen observations and musical wizardry.
Albums will be on sale for R100 but if you come dressed up in your old school uniform you can get the disk for only R80!
