What a wonderful 1st of June. And our new sleekline site is up!
We still have a few tweaks to make and things to add but wanted to launch on a solid date.
So the site is still a Work-in-progress, but we wanted to ask you, our r…
eaders, to be a part of the test phase so that you could give us feedback now.
Like all new things – it may take a little time getting used to… here are the major changes – many of which were requested by you:
– Search function – now you can find articles very quickly and easily, articles you may have written, ZArchived articles, research information… just type in your search
– It’s faster and sleeker – we have made the movement within the site much slicker and the look we feel is more sleek. yeah…
– There’s a home page tab – yip – on the left hand side you can see the grey tab – it’s always there – just click to go home to Mama.
– There’s a “pass to a friend” button on every post… that’s right – share our stories with your chommies.
– Our ‘subscribe’ to the email newsletter is still similar and eay to use where we dont ask you for your private information.
– We have a CONTACT US button – just click there to send in your thoughts and your articles
– Comments are now accessible only at the bottom of the articles
– We have included a list of our favourite sites and our brother and sister sites in SA (Much Respect!) please pay them a visit
– TOPICS – just slide your mouse over them and choose where you want to go.
– Permanent link – that’s so you can get the story on it’s own page in case you want to send the link around.

The logo is missing from the front page we will fix that later. There are still a few new features to come such as our new advertising space, FLICKR photos etc

We would like to apologise to all the Representers for the delay in the launch of the new site. It was supposed to be your suprise this fresh Monday morning. Unfortunately our server was having problems over the weekend and we were unable to launch the new-look site yesterday as was planned.
The new-look site will be up as soon as possible. We are not going to test the site but in a yet unheard of method, we are going to ask you, our readers to test the site for us and to give us your feedback on the new slimline version.
