Snazzy New Yellow and Black taxi’s for Jozi
We spotted the new shiny snazzy yellow and black AA cabs on Saturday for the first time in Empire road – we thought they looked very chic and never imagined that they would be competing with the usual Skorokoro taxis that one usually sees dragging themselves around.
We called the number 083 69 22 222 to get more info on prices etc:
From 5am to 9pm the cabs charge R8 per kilome…
tre and can fit 4 people comfortably in them.
From 9pm till 5am they charge R10 per kilometre.
They have a ‘cheat’ free system – which means that they quote you on the phone based on a GPRS system that works out the shortest route to your destination and let’s you know exactly what you will be required to pay.
