4th May 2013-Saturday- Joburg Inner City Night Walking Tour.
Join Past Experiences on an evening walking tour of the Inner City! We will start at the Mapungubwe Hotel where you can grab a warm drink before we head out for our night time exploration of the Financial District. This 2 hour tour will look at the history, public art and architecture of one of Johannesburg’s oldest areas. We recommend bringing a torch so you can get a good look at all the Inner City attractions and bringing a warm jacket as the weather could be getting a little colder. The tour will end with a Mojito in the Hotel Vault Bar- the original bank vault of the French Bank! You are then welcome to have a few drinks at your own cost, to see the night out in style!

25th May 2013- Saturday- Spotlight on Jozi Inner City Architecture (with Heritage Architect Brian Mckechnie) We are very excited to have Inner City Architect and Heritage Fundi Brian Mckechnie join our guides on a tour of the Inner City, to impart his expert knowledge on the architecture of the Joburg Inner City. Brian will choose some of his favourite buildings and discuss their history and architecture. The tour will also include a visit to the Ansteys building (one of Joburg’s Premier Art Deco Buildings) where Brian owns a number of apartments. Here we will enjoy light refreshment on the rooftop overlooking the city.
