The best ways to experience the Joburg City Festival is by Jozi Tuk-Tuk. Only a limited number of tickets are for sale for each day of the festival. Tickets need to be pre-booked. Visit www.joburgcity.netand click on the ‘festival transport’ tab to find info and to buy your tickets.

Park your car safely at any of the indicated spots, then take a tuk-tuk to various city destinations and take in the sights of the city on the way. Or come by Gautrain and hop on to a tuk-tuk. Tickets are available on a ‘4 x 2’ basis, meaning 2 people can take 4 trips between any city destinations during any single day for R200 only (that equates to R25 per ‘hop’ if both people use all four trips! Visit www.joburgcity.net and click on the ‘festival transport’ tab for info and to buy your tickets.

Also available are ‘3 x 3’ shuttle tickets for R150 and cabs at R80 a trip. Of course Gautrain buses and Rea Vaya buses are also available in the city. Note, though that Gautrain buses do NOT run on Saturdays and Sundays.

Apart from the Jozi Tuk-Tuk service, there will also be Happy.Me ‘Espresso on the Move’ tuk-tuks crisscrossing the city with your favourite coffee during the festival! Be sure to sample the delicious coffees on offer.
