June’s announcement of the full international line-up of Skunk Anansie, The Hives, alt-J and Boys Noize for this year’s Vodacom in the City has Jo’burg’s indie-rock fans tingling with excitement. The big question that remains is which talented South African act will be chosen to rock Newtown’s Mary Fitzgerald Square on 4 October.
The answer lies with YOU. This year Vodacom is giving the fans the deciding vote on which SA band will play alongside this edgy line-up.
To add to the experience Vodacom is also running a VIP fan experience that will see five lucky Vodacom fans and their partners win an all-inclusive VIP trip to Jo’burg’s Vodacom in the City on 4 October and Rocking the Daisies in Cape Town on 5 October.
To add to the experience the Vodacom VIP winners will fly to Rocking the Daisies with the winning SA band.
